As an artist I draw from past experiences to bring my pieces to life. I grew up on a ranch in South Dakota where I spent a lot of my childhood around livestock and wildlife. I get most of my inspiration from my childhood as well as from my travels. My wildlife pieces are usually a good marriage of my abstract style with my need for realism.

Whether it's a wildlife, landscape or abstract collection, there is a lot of time put into a piece of work before I even begin. From composition, color pallet choice and medium used for completion, it's my hope that my work will allow you to feel that thoughtful intention with the story I'm trying to tell. My work is directly influenced by my childhood and my hope of the future.
