This piece has such warm memories attached to it. Sunday 
Afternoon is meant to allow you to feel that soft, warm and slow afternoon of a summer Sunday. Growing up we neighbored a hereford ranch and I always admired how sweet the little herd of herefords looked. In the spring we also had bum calves that we would have to bottle feed. This piece was inspired by both our bottle calves and the neighboring ranches cattle. I hope you too can feel the sweetness of this hefer and the warmth that comes from the painting.
